Corrections Policy
How users and companies can report inaccurate contact information and how updates are reviewed and documented.
Corrections encouraged
A directory becomes less useful when support channels change. We invite users, companies and rights holders to report inaccurate or stale records.
Evidence-first review
The strongest correction includes the exact AtoZ Contacts page, the field that is wrong and a company-owned source showing the current information.
Verification changes
A correction can change a record from verified to pending, replace an outdated value, add country context or remove information that can no longer be supported.
Material corrections
When practical, significant corrections should update the page’s verification or modified date so users can tell the record has been reviewed.
No payment for corrections
A company should not need to purchase a service merely to correct a materially inaccurate directory record.
