How We Verify Company Contact Information
Our standard for separating an official company source from an unverified contact claim.
Verification hierarchy
- Company-owned support, contact or help-center page.
- Company-owned country or product page.
- Official corporate or regulatory documentation where appropriate.
- Official verified company social channel only when it clearly publishes the contact information.
What we record
Company/brand name, official domain, country, support type, contact value, source URL, source context, verification status, last verified date and correction history.
What we do not do
We do not guess email addresses, copy unsupported phone numbers from scraped directories, fabricate support hours, create fake ratings or mark a record verified because multiple third-party sites repeat the same claim.
Verification status
Verified means a suitable official source supports the specific contact claim. Verification pending means the directory has not yet published that contact method as source-backed.
FAQ
What counts as an official source?
A company-owned website, help center, contact page, authenticated support portal or official corporate documentation that clearly supports the contact claim.
Do you use third-party directories as verification?
A third-party directory may help discover a lead, but it is not sufficient by itself for our verified label.
How often are records rechecked?
Verification frequency depends on the sensitivity and volatility of the contact channel. Users and companies can also trigger a review through correction reports.
